And do it with the help of a seasoned ghostwriter who can also make sure your book is published in the best possible way— and then marketed to the right people?
This is such a new area for many people that they often give up before they get started, or they go down the wrong path from the beginning.
Enter JUDY KATZ, a University of California, Berkeley journalism school alumnus who has so far successfully ghostwritten or edited and then helped publish and promote more than 50 books, several becoming best-sellers.
On Wednesday August 21st at 7pm via ZOOM Judy will be sharing her knowledge and expertise with you! Among the things that Judy will explain to you are:
- How to know what your true story is and who the right audiences are to tell it to.
- How to time block so that you can write your story or work with a ghostwriter or editor.
- How most ghostwriters and editors work, and what it costs.
- How to get an agent to take your book to a traditional publisher, and what’s involved.
- Why you should or should not consider a hybrid publisher.
- If you want to self publish, what exactly is that process?
Like any business, books have to be marketed and promoted through both traditional and social media outlets. Judy will explain what this entails, and how you can do it yourself or work with a publicist.
The last half an hour will be a Q&A session where you can ask Judy any questions. In addition, she has agreed to make 15 minute phone sessions available to every attendee should you want to ask her any questions directly on a private one to one basis.
