Ken Davenport is unquestionably one of Broadway's most prolific, successful, and award-winning producers. Some of his producing credits include: A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical (Tony Award), Kinky Boots (Tony Award), Spring Awakening, Mother and Sons, Once On This Island , Gettin’ the Band Back Together, The Play That Goes Wrong, Groundhog Day, Godspell, The Visit, The Bridges of Madison County, Speed-the-Plow, and Blithe Spirit—to name a few!
He has also mounted mega-hits Off-Broadway, produced documentaries that have been shown at film festivals around the country, and brought new broadway and film investors into his world. His Davenport Theatrical Enterprises has been named one of the fastest-growing private companies in the country.
On Tuesday October 15th from 7 to 8 pm EST, Ken will grace the Ivy Lecture Series Zoom “stage” with a powerful talk. He will share what it takes to become a Broadway and Off-Broadway producer.
