HBSCNY NYC Antisemitism Event: Moral Courage & Leadership

Please join us at the capstone event of the HBS Club of NY’s efforts to combat antisemitism. We will convene HBS alumni and other business leaders to address antisemitism and drive meaningful change across the business community, media and academia. $75 fee per person for this 6.5 hour program.

 

Our keynote speakers will be David Rubenstein, co-founder of the Carlyle Group and Chair of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Council on Foreign Relations, and Raymond J. McGuire, President of Lazard. Mr. McGuire will engage in a discussion with Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League. The actress Julianna Margulies will also join us as a keynote. 

  

Other speakers include Dara Horn, Author of, “People Love Dead Jews” and former member of the Harvard Working Group on Antisemitism; Farooq Kathwari, CEO of Ethan Allen; Sara Eisen, CNBC Anchor; Shai Davidai, Columbia Business School; and Harvard Chabad Founder Rabbi Hirschy Zarchi. 

 

The symposium will include keynote addresses, panel discussions and a concluding reception. Topics include:

  

  • Models for Governance at Harvard/HBS and other Educational Institutions 
  • Role of the C-Suite and Directors in Responding to Antisemitism and Evolving DEI 
  • Role of the Media and Propaganda in Antisemitism
